Court Merrigan grew up on a farm outside Scottsbluff, NE, working on the family operation in Nebraska and Wyoming. He graduated from Creighton University and also holds a Master’s degree from the University of Wyoming. After some time abroad, he returned to Wyobraska in 2009, where he has been involved in agriculture ever since. In addition to grunt work on the farm, he has been a farm manager and a hay broker. He recently worked as the Farm Manager and Collateral Specialist for Platte Valley Bank, where he managed farms in Nebraska and Wyoming, handling acquisitions and sales, trusts, generational transitions, lease negotiations, farm improvement and development, and government relations. He also conducted valuations on commercial, residental and agricultural real estate as well as equipment. He also gained a wide range of knowledge in farm financing and agricultural operations of all types and sizes.
He is Licensed in Nebraska and Wyoming.
